A student is required to complete 90 credit hours of college learning, which sums up to four years or a bachelor's degree. There are available associate's degree courses as well but this may hamper you haunt for better job opportunities. As much as possible, go for the full four years.

The first half have to be spent on learning mastering basic sciences while the other half have to spent on clinical sciences. Licensed chiropractors cannot expect more than $38,000-$60,000 a year of they have barely one year of practice. However, it increases as they become experienced.

On the other hand, licensed chiropractors with five years or more of employment experience can expect an upgraded pay scale. Usually, the annual salary can go up to $130,000+. The earnings are higher if a chiropractor decides to set up his own clinic and become a self-employed practitioner. These types of chiropractors normally earn up to $177,000 per year or over.
