If you are finally ready to get in the best shape you have ever been in then you are probably wondering what the best course of action would be. After all, there are so many workout programs out there. Everyone wants to sell you something, which would be fine, if what they were selling was anything of value. It is important to make sure that if you are buying something to supplement your regular workout routine, that it is legit and it can back its claims.

As far as the workout itself, you want to make sure that you are getting a well rounded workout. This is where many people go wrong. They will focus on just one type of workout or exercise machine and that is it. Truth be told, this is the last thing you want to do. You have to make sure that you are getting everything in, but don't worry, you do not have to spend hours a day working out in order to do it. 20 Minutes of Cardio

Burning calories always starts with a little bit of cardio. Just 20 minutes can help you increase your metabolism, improve heart function, and decrease your cholesterol. Plus, if you're experiencing high blood pressure this can help to lower it. There are tons of benefits surrounding cardiovascular workouts, which is why a lot of people aren't paying attention to the benefits of exercise.

Cardio will allow you to increase your heart rate with just a 20 minute routine. Whether you're spinning, running, speed walking, or just doing an aerobic exercise; each one of them will help you burn those calories. Just make sure you have plenty of warm-up time and cool-down time involved.

20 Minutes of Circuit Training

When you're working with circuit training you have mixture of resistance training and intense aerobics. The goal here is to target fat loss and improve your heart and lung fitness. During this time you will also see an increase in your muscle mass, but this is done through moving from one exercise to another. Most importantly it is a rapid movement.

For example; start out by doing as many pushups as you can do within a 30 second period. When that time is up you can move to situps, then squats, lunges, chin-ups, or anything else in your cycle. When you go through everything you just repeat the cycle.

We all know that abdominal exercises will help strengthen the abs, but this is also important to protecting internal organs. They also help your breathing, especially when exhaling. In the end you can also improve your core stability.

One way to perform an abdominal exercise is by using an exercise ball. Place the ball on the ground and sit on it with your feet flat on the floor. Then lean back as if you're going to lay on the ball until your torso is parallel with the floor. All that's left to do is raise the torso to a 45 degree angle over and over again for a 20 minute period. In the end you will get the perfect 60 minute workout for your body.
