You would not be able to set tent up clearly. And preparing the site for you to just relax will be more difficult when you cannot see anything.

Before you leave, you have to check the weather. At least you would have the time to cancel if it is bad. And if you are in a situation when the rain occurs during the time that you are already camping, a rainy gear would be most helpful. Be sure that you packed enough for the whole family.

There is no telling when damage to equipment can happen. And if this happens, it hinders the effectiveness that it has. There are others that could become useless with a simple damage. That is why you should also make sure that you have packed your repair kit along with the first aid kit that you have.

Packing extra food is also recommended. If you have doubts on whether you want to extend or not, at least you have the food ready for it.
