Concept2 Indoor Rowing Machine Review

By Georgia Wetherford

I was never extremely enthralled about the sport of indoor rowing until I tested out a Concept2 Rowing Machine. Like mast other forms of aerobic exercise equipment you notice at a gym, I presumed an indoor rower would be dull and not offer any muscle-building benefits.

I was wrong

What I realized was that indoor rowers provide several different workouts. They keep individuals from getting bored, which means they are most likely to keep to their workout regimen. Whether you are trying to drop weight or build muscle or both, you will get results much faster when you workout consistently.

They are also very practical. I did not recognize how lightweight and easy one of these devices was to relocate until I picked it up and rolled it across the room. I could do it virtually effortlessly with one hand. I was truly surprised. This element alone made me think it would be the ideal piece of home exercise gear. I could easily move it from room to room and afterwards keep it out of view when I was not using it.

I also had no issues hearing music or watching a good tv show while working out. I admit, occasionally I prefer a diversion or an escape while I am exercising. With a loud piece of workout equipment, you can't hear music or watch a movie. Occasionally this means that I will not workout at all.

When I used to jog often, I would finish an exercise and afterwards need to add a strength-building routine for my arms. With the Concept 2 Indoor Rower, I do not have to do that. All major muscle groups get a strenuous workout on the rower, and in minimal time.

This provides me even more time to do other things that I want to do. It also gives me much more motivation to exercise on a rower, because I know it will get me more results quicker than other alternative workout routines.

As you have probably noticed, I am a huge fan of this rowing machine, but there is another thing I want to discuss. I like exercising outdoors. Typically I do not prefer indoor workout classes or health clubs. Nevertheless, since the C2 is so light-weight and easy to move, I merely roll it outside and take advantage of working out in the sunshine. If this is an issue that you are thinking about, you do not need to be.

If you're thinking about buying home workout device, like an indoor rower, try one out initially. Numerous gyms have them, or your local exercise equipment shop might let you test drive one. Then, you can shop online to find the lowest priced deal on the machine you want.
