Now the one nutrient that will really help with the metabolism would actually be the starch as it is the one that would regulate the proper bowel movements. Of course there are other important things as well like protein which will help with the muscle mass.

Now if one already has a good diet, then the next thing he should do would be to create the proper exercise program. First of all, he has to strengthen his overall body by doing some cardio exercises. Now one should never overdo his cardio exercises as doing too much will result in harmful results rather than beneficial ones.

Now aside from cardiovascular exercises, one has to make sure he also does power training in order to bulk his muscles. Now since he is a middle aged man, then he should not try to do something that is to vigorous. He should stick to doing some light exercises like lifting light weights and just doing a few push ups.

Of course in addition to all of this, one has to also take his daily dose of vitamins. This would actually help with the health of a person as it will provide the essential things that the body needs. Now if one has a healthy internal system, then it will definitely show on the outside as well.
